Fully Cooked Hickory Smoked Whole Turkey
Cook Time: 1 - 1 1/2 hours
Directions
Thaw the turkey
(Average thaw time: 10 hours on the counter and 1 day in the refrigerator will thaw a 12 lb turkey)
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
Use a pan with a rack. Put a 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the pan.
Remove the turkey from the bag and place it on the rack in the pan breast side up
Cover and cook 60-90 minutes
The turkey should reach an internal temperature of 140 degrees.
